Wow. Thanks everyone. The head...will be a surprise. This is for a one on one competition on Bantha Skull (link in my first post) and I don't want to give my competitor any hints on that part. The rest, if he's smart, he'll have thought of on his own. I'm very happy with my head choice, and I think everyone will like it as well.

One thing I didn't mention was his shoulder pad. I spent at least an hour searching through my fodder boxes looking at parts I thought would work. Nothing jumped at me. Then I found this helmet.

The tail was what I was looking for. I shaved it off. Shaved the underside down, trimmed to my liking, and a few dabs of glue later...it was on.

Again, thanks for all the comments and looks. This is a labor of love. Something I haven't had for customs in a long, long time.

I hate bumping a custom without any new pics, so I do apologize.

My order from Marauder Inc should be here tomorrow. I'm super psyched to put the finishing touches on this figure. I spent last night detailing Max. Weathering, adding some scruff to his face and trimming the neck peg to the right height. I'm actually going to be sad when this is done as it's been a real joy putting him together.

Thanks for all the great comments.

Can't wait to see how this one turns out. I haven't watched the movies in ages. Maybe time to revisit the classics.

I've been impressed by this one for a while now, but wanted to wait to see how the head turned out before commenting.

However, I have to break my silence for a quick kudos on that shoulder pad innovation. Inspired stuff.

That's not a bad head choice at all, i likes, but i think you might need to give him a 5 o'clock shadow :-/

Couldn't be any happier to see this finished. Love it! You nailed the look perfectly.
Glad I was able to score one of those heads too last weekend. :-D

I youtube'd Mad Max 2 a couple of nights ago and it's still fresh in my head. You nailed it! What an awesome job. I don't think you could find a better head.

Great job on Mad Max Rockatansky. The only thing that would be great is if you had one of the 1:18th scale Road Warrior cars to go along with it. You have done an amazing job on the custom and everything was well researched. Kudos!!!
