These two customs were inspired by the 2006 International GI Joe Convention set, Cobra's Most Wanted: Mercenaries.

I wasn't fortunate enough to own a set but this was a very impressive set, definitely one of their best. Although I liked this set, it lost some points from me because Cobra Mortal didn't get an updated design. I never really had any interest in this foreign exclusive character before but after reading his filecard from the set, I was, to say the least, intrigued by this new perspective. I sought to create an updated look for Cobra Mortal that would be befitting and cool. This is what I came up with:

Image
COBRA MORTAL- COBRA Elite Enforcer
Parts used:
Head- Comic Pack Snake Eyes 05
Torso- Duke 92
Left arm, waist and right leg- Cobra Commander 01
Right arm- Agent Faces 03
Left leg- Cross Country 86
SIG SG-550 assault rifle- Marauder Inc.
Crossbow- I don't recall.

Next up is Major Bludd.

Major Bludd is without question one of my all time favorite characters. I wasn't much of a fan of this particular head sculpt or the use of Long Range's body sculpt for him in this set but the combination was very original, nonetheless. I decided to keep the head sculpt and just give him a body I liked a little better. If I ever get the chance to own a few Skull Squad guys, they would be led into battle by this:

Image
MAJOR BLUDD- Skull Squad Commander
Parts used:
Head- Major Bludd 94
Arms- Sure Fire 02
Torso, waist and legs- Flint 94
AK-74 assault rifle and SOCOM pistol- Marauder Inc.

Like I said before... I love them both. Cobra Mortal is my favorite, and I like your modern take on him.

still and forever the master of great RAH customs, these are incredible.

best use of battle armor CC parts ever... nice job moderizing Mortal without redesigning him, this custom gives him an essence I've never seen in him at all !

bad ass take on Bludd, I really dig this use of the Battle Corps Flint parts. I too am a *huge* fan of this character and I love seeing different custom designs of the poet mercenary.

Love 'em!

It's wonderful to see there's still life in RAH customizing. I was never any good with those parts, it's amazing to me what some people can make with them. These are both great examples of everything a RAH sculpt figure, custom or otherwise, can be!

I actually had this con set. Sold everything but the Bludd.

Your Bludd works better than theirs did, but I' REALLY impressed with Mortal. Way to give him some sorely needed individual character.

Very nice as always. I'm not a huge fan of Bludd, but I like the use of the BC Flint here. I actually prefer the Con one here, well at least the upper half.

Mortal, though, is excellent. Great use of parts. I love the right leg and that the red extends above the armor. Works so, so well. The little touches the torso work great too.

Love the Mortal. I've admired your customs from way back. I think if anybody ever thought of ditching their RAH fodder, or RAH as a whole they should be directed to your customs and nine times out of ten I think they will change their mind.

I love seeing ARAH customs, especially when they are Production quality like these here.

That Bludd is awesome, I want one! I would have never thought about using the BC Flint torso on him, but it works great!

Cobra Mortal is a character I always wanted to try and customize but had never gotten to it...Well, you have inspired me.

The red dot on the scope: nice detail to add.

Bluff is ok. I just don't think it is a big enough improvement. It is at least on par with it.

Mortal is beautiful. Great sanding work on the torso

Cool Major Bludd, the new torso turned out great. I'd buy that instantly.

Well put. My only critique is that I'd make the entire arm and leg silver and eliminate the black bits. Still, wonderful work.
