i have been rummaging through the two web sites which are packed full of the most amazing gi joe stuff i have ever seen. So i was seriously thinking of spending some money at the two sites.....especially on the nude fem torsos hehehe....but i noticed every piece that i would be willing to buy is sold out....on both sites.....not that im suprised cuz good things sell fast i get it. My question though is how often are these products restocked? can they be put on order? and since i have not purchased from these sites are they reliable? i apreciate the feedback guys and if this is in the wrong section feel free to move me around here.

they do a pre-order system, they open the store for 2-3 weeks, for orders, close, produce the casts, ship and about a month later they re-open for the next round with the old stuff and some new goodness.

I am friends with the archiver for Tri-Gate and have ordered from both stores. The items are real good quality and I have never had a problem with ordering from either location. Alyosha from Broken Arrow basically runs the store on his own, so there is a small delay in shipping time, but the products are well worth the wait. There are some items which Alyosha does not sell anymore because not many people were buying them. Custom casting is expensive and time consuming. If you email Alyosha directly, he may be able to help you out with a specific item that you are looking for. Tri-Gate shuts down temporarily to fill orders, so they are not backlogged. If you go to the site and there is no "add item to cart" button, that means they are filling pre orders. There is a button marked "Contact Us" under the item. If you click on this and explain that you would like to order these products, they will add you to a contact list and email you when the reopen for preorders. There is another part caster as well, Asphalt runs his own store with different items and posts here on these boards. Asphalt's site is called HunterArtWorks.

Trigate is actually in the middle of a pre-order right now. Here's the new store-front:

Could be ending soon, though. It started on the 10th and it says it goes for three weeks.

And yeah, you can't beat Trigate (...or Slayer Designs now, I guess) quality.

I've been busy painting sample archive heads for Trigate/Slayer (which will show up once things are settled from the transition) and I'm really impressed with the detail and quality. It's hard to look at a blank head and be impressed, but I've seen most of the archive pieces and I'm certain you'll be happy with anything you get. Just be patient and learn the system (which I have to explore myself) and it'll be worth the wait.

Some of my favorite people are action figures.

Both TriGate and Broken Arrow are top notch for what they supply. You cannot go wrong with ordering from either group.

And that is before you look at the painted up customs that Mac and others have begun to do for the stores.

not much I can add...

I have bought from both guys, (even met a few in person)

they are stand up people with stand up products.

yeah you have to wait 3 weeks to a month for product, but hey,... good things come to those who wait, and its WELL worth the wait.

but to co-sign: email them about specific product, and they may accommodate you.

I've bought from Broken Arrow, the month wait was annoying, but I undersatnd why. I will say I was a bit bummered though when the rifle I bought snapped in half the first time I tried to stick it into the figure's hands. Marauder John hooked me up with a replacement though.

I just ordered from Tri-Gate last week and am really looking forward to the items. Any idea how long they take for shipping?

It actually varies.

in the past before the pre ordering, I would get my items in about a week.

now, you have to add casting time into the mix, so its about a month or so, give or take a week,
