is there any tutorial or page on coverting the old RAH backpacks with a 25th peg for use with the newer construction?

I forget who it was, but someone here found the perfect size plastic rod that fits the 25th style backpack holes. I think its 3.2mm or something like that. I've been using a slightly larger diameter myself (its all I could find locally) and sanding it down to fit the back hole. I've just cut the styrene rod to length, drilled out the old peg, filled in the hole in the backpack with Fixit and the rod and tweak as necessary.

I've just shaved increments off the old backpack pegs and tested the fit until I found the proper fit.

I still push the idea of buying model kits. A car model provides lots of nice parts to use and also the tree that holds the parts is good for a ton of things. Use for the peg on the new backpacks, and also as a peg to make joints with.
