Saw these today. The Ross store near me has the Movie-based five-packs in -- the five desert-camo Joes with characters like the female Dial-Tone, and the five Cobras with characters like the Elite-Viper. $12.99 per set. They also have some of what were the trickier vehicles to find (at least around here), like the Cobra Mantis with Aqua-Viper Officer, the Scramble Motorcycle (did I get that name right?), etc. $8.99 apiece.

Stopped by local Ross just now and scored the Joe 5 pack. I passed on the two cobra 5 packs. They had no vehicles though

Hopefully I can get to a ross soon, I wouldn't mind the cobra pack at that price.

Keep checking. I think the vehicles are a more recent arrival. And, admittedly, Ross' can be pretty inconsistent.

I'll have to hope that TJ Maxx or Ollie's gets these items in as they're the only local outlets. Nearest Ross store to me is about 2 states away. Shame... the fact that one of the sets contains a female character and a black character means I'm now obligated to buy it, as my display(not to mention the line in general) severely lacks on both.

I got one of each 5 pack and did the Repeater switch that everyone else has done.

That makes 3 good Joes: Repeater, "Hardball" and Dial-Tone. And Two boring Joes with the Zartan Bodies;

The Cobra Pack Duke I've decided is a Badguy character and I need a name for him. Any ideas? I was thinking maybe even going the "clone / nano / surgically altered" Faker-type of Duke. Or even the Evil twin brother of movie Duke who are the sons of the classic Duke.

I really wish we had a Ross here. These sets were gone from TRU in no time at all, and even though I wanted to pick them up I never got the chance after hesitating the first time I saw them thinking I'd have plenty of chances later. That's despite the fact that I could stop there tonight and pick up the Attack on the Pit set and even the Revenge of Cobra DVD battle set!

Since someone mentioned TJ Maxx, I stopped in last night and they had about 15-20 of the various comic packs, a couple of Wild Bill w/Dragonhawk, and a couple Frostbite w/Ice Dagger.

Maybe they'll get the five packs too...
