Eco Squad. I don't know why but I liked the whole group of them, I wouldn't mind seeing them redone and updated now in a 7 pack set. Or even 2 sets so they can do one Cobra and one G.I.Joe.

(laughing) I have "Fishing vest" Bazooka, with LAW's pants to wrap the whole ensemble together, and put a small bamboo pole in his hand. :rotfl:

I always thought Gnawgahyde was Hasbro's mini-steal of Spidey's Kraven the Hunter. There ain't a Cheetah or Leopard in the world that yellow(even Chester Cheetah is respectfully finger lickin' orange), save for that Marsupilami critter that my kid used to love from the PSA cartoons. Yet, his overall over-the-top look aside, he sports that dash cunning hat, serious hunting recurve bow, and probably one of the best knives in the whole RAH run.

Oh, and let's not forget, when you go putting an earring on a Razorback hog, that's tantamount to an engagement ring. Damn spooky.

Finger lickin' orange is my new favorite color.

Yeah, I like Longarm, too, although I certainly won't fault the Convention's recolor of him a couple of years ago.

I always thought Mace was the best outlandish figure...A rocketlauncher on your head? Really? And the one eyed helmet. I loved to hate this guy so much as a kid that I had to buy one off a fellow JC member a few months ago.

Star Brigade. Hell yes, Joes in space!

Honestly, I think these would have sold pretty well if they repainted and re-released them in some TRU six pack. They've got nice details and some of the sweetest helmets in the entire RAH line. Get rid of the space theme, turn them into a Toxic Ops unit and create a similar Cobra six pack with repainted Toxo Vipers and Toxo Zombies.

I would've bought it. I think a lot of people would have because a lot of people don't have those molds due to the original neon flavor.

I'm a big fan of Lobotomaxx. I just like the guy: his cool feet, his nice green skin tone, his great card art; he rules.

I also have a soft spot for the entire 1988 and 1990 collections of figures for some reason. So if any of those figures are considered awful, I like them anyway. Armadillo, I'm looking in your direction.

And, for good measure, I'm also fond of Clean-Sweep.

I am huge fan of a lot of the "New Sculpt" stuff, though the consensus seems to be that the whole era should be forgotten. Bald Wild Bill with the Van Dyke and the rawhide jacket is my favorite version of him. I really like the all Cobra Troop builders from that era, as well... a lot of anime influences seemed to creep their way in.

Oh yeah, new sculpt stuff. In that ocean of turds, we did get a few very well done figures:

Gung-Ho 16 Still the best Gung-Ho evar!
Snake Eyes 23 Second best Snake Eyes evar!
Barel Roll DTC a great generic base for customs
Crosshair
Blackout
Jynx
Mindbender in Labcoat
Torch (a perfect update)
Medi-Viper

Heh -- "Ocean of Turds" -- and HOW many supporters did newsculpt have when it was running? I encountered plenty of them, saying how vastly superior these figures were to the originals for a host of reasons. But I don't want to start that argument.

Anyway, there were some cool characters in there. Kamakura, Blackout, and CERTAINLY the long overdue Medi-Viper. I wouldn't've minded adding Med Alert to my collection just because of how different he looked, if I could've found one that had a paint job that looked decent. And I liked the Cobra Heavy Water figure, including the Club's glow-in-the-dark version!

Gi Jane/ Bombstrike were far better than any female figure in all of ARAH, and Agent Courtney Krieger was the best female figure in all of O-ring. DTC Saw Vipers were great, too.
