So, this is the third version of Mr. Wilson I've worked on. There is so many different combinations of Deadpool you can create, so I know I won't be lack for projects.

This one, however, is a commission. Yeah, I'm on a roll here.

I finally got the parts I bought on eBay on the 14th, so I was able to work on him for a couple of hours tonight after having a couple of weeks to brainstorm.

First thing I did was remove the god awful web gear that Hasbro thought was a good idea. I added one of my favorite web gear pieces from the 25th Anny Cobra Driver.



I swapped out his hands and feet for 25th Anny Beach head versions. I think they look one a gazilliotrillion times better....but that's just me.



Last, I modded the holster. The molded holster is cool, but the closed bottom hinders putting any other gun in it.



After these things, there isn't much more that I want to do besides arm him, touch up some paint, and add some more gear to him. I'm enjoying this version of him so far. I can't wait to work on my next one.

Wow...talk about perfect timing...

A friend of mine on Bantha Skull was asking me what I would do to make the Deadpool figure better. Well, I told him all the things I had done to the first Deadpool figure I customized. It was a bit more than he wanted to do...so I offered to do it for him.

My payment?

A bottle of his home brewed witbeer. This might be the first commission payment in beer form I've read about.

First thing I did was get rid of that god awful web gear. I think it would choke him to death before it was actually useful. I replaced it with the web gear from the 25th Cobra Driver...it's my personal favorite. Next, I looked for something to replace his hands with, and thought of Beachhead first. I also replaced his feet as I thought the boots looked a lot better than the stocking feet he had. Next I took off some of the bottom of the holster so it could accommodate a different pistol (I used the Striker pistol from Marauder). After I put the web gear on him, it was missing something...his belt buckle. I carefully shaved it off he existing web gear, shaved down the buckle on the Cobra web gear and glued the buckle on. I went through my fodder box about three times looking for the perfect sword and finally landed on the City Strike Snake Eyes sword and scabbard. The peg was cut off and a notch was cut in top so it would sit on the gear better. The web gear was glued closed, and a couple of dabs of glue are on the shoulders to keep it down. I gave him a few other Marauder guns and he's done.
