POC Cobra Night Vulture

Sup my people ya boy T back again with a hot joint for ya! I know it's been a minute since I have done anything. Thanks to a wonderful back spazim I just got, gave me some time to get a custom in.

Now this is one I wanted to make as soon as I saw the previews of the Jungle viper. The JV camo just screamed Night Vulture to me and the poc FF head was the cherry in top for me. I don't know about you guys but Red,purple,black does not say Cobra Recon Specialist to me.

Now on the weapons I wanted to keep it simple and added the POC SS Claw blades to give him that Talon look. I also wanted to nod the original by adding the ROC Scarlett cross bow.

Very cool. You've totally rethought the whole concept of the figure and made a great piece. Looks great.

That's outstanding.

I think that is the best use of several individual new parts, for one very cohesive and cool custom. I definitely do dig.

Sorry to hear about your back T but its good to see you posting. And man what a way to come back. This figure looks really cool. I've been toying with the idea of using the Jungle Viper camo as wings and this shows me how it would look. Very cool reimagining and very well executed, just like you always do.

Heh, was trying to come up with something similar for Archangel, like the wash on the figure & wings...not so sure about the claws but not sure what else could work or if some wolverine fists could fit in the wrist posts or not.

WAIT WHY ISN'T THIS PURPLE THE ORIGINAL WAS PURPLE OMFG U RUINED TEH 90'S RAH JOE FIG!

BECAUSE THERE IS NO PURPLE IN POC!!!!!!!!!! lol

But to get back to the point, that is very, very nice. That would be a figure I would buy if it were in the stores. Very good custom.

I really like the parts usage but I miss the purple. I think if you dry brushed the purple on like the grey/blue you used it would blend just as well.

But yeah, was wondering where you had gone off too. Good to see you on here again, and hope you find less painful ways to find the time.

As for the figure, it's awesome. Very menacing, and very versatile, well beyond the title you have given him (which is why I'd stay away from the purple, personally).
