I have been looking for some time for some products that could be used to make the bottom section of jackets for some of my Oktber Guard customs.

I have several books I use for reference pics and thoght it would be interestng to have a few customs wearing the long sleeve winter jackets.

I have looked at cloth, but have always been unhappy with the way it looks in 1-18th. I've also looked at Clonetrooper skirts and in the girls section of toys to see if there was something that could be utilized (Polly Pocket, etc). Nothing was making me happy.

Today I stopped into the local Dollar Tree store and found a brand called "Glitter Princess".

Each figures comes with two interchangeable dresses. Out of abot six different models I found a style I liked and got two to practice on.

I have had a OG figure all LBCed already, so it waited whil I carefully trimmed off the star shaped waist/belt thingie of the dress.

I carefully went around with an xacto knife to make it even. I few minutes later I have a fairly simple extended bottom section of a jacket.

I still have to cut a inverted 'V' in the front and clean up the top section (and paint).

For right now I am satisfied with the look.

I'll try to get some pics up (I know I keep saying that...)

Extreme Detail figures, especially the WWII ones carry quite a few long coats and such, great for using for customs.
