Like Gung Ho, I did not own any of the Hasbro made Flint figures. I thought that he should be next on my list of Joe redux.

I ordered a Resolute Flint and got him today. I liked the figure, but...he had to die. First thing I did was swap out his legs. I wanted something that looked rugged, but also had a clear military look to them. I had 25th Duke legs on him, but they looked lame. I had leftover Recondo legs from my Gung Ho custom (I'm waiting on arms for him...). Perfect. Next I wanted to do something with his arms. I didn't want to leave the Reso Duke arms that he came with. I wanted him to have a look of his own. I went through my fodder and found the POC Zartan, and swapped out his lower arms. After that, I added one extra pack to the vest, gave him a Marauder shotgun, and called it good. He needs paint and one more add-on and he's done. Not too bad for a night of customizing.

Nice. Now he needs a holster for that sidearm.

I like him. And the legs work well for a modern POC styled version of Flint. I initially loved the Resolute legs, but they are kind of wonky on some figures, so I like your choice here.

Only suggestions would be to maybe paint the shotgun shells on the vest, and also maybe consider adding a thigh holster, but both of those are strictly matters of taste.

Although I considered him done last night, the holster is something I'd like to add.

The shells on the vest irritate me as they're way too small to be shotgun shells...but are supposed to be shotgun shells. I Don't know what I'm gonna do with them. I may put him on hold for now, as I have some parts coming in the mail that would help this figure out tremendously.

Flint is one of my all-time favorite characters, and this custom does him justice! I like the parts choices and colors used. Great work all around!

I thought he was done.

Silly Dre.

I added a holster, another pouch on his leg and gave him and his gun a dry brushing. Looks better, though I may have gone overboard a bit on the back.

his upperlegs and crotch don't mach the lower legs color. I like the parts selection besides the zartan hands just looks odd

This is good.

I liked the color scheme- they don't seem to be drawn from the same set, yet they are muted enough to not conflict with each other.
