Deep within one of Many of Minbenders Labs..............A creation is born with an Artificial Brain and its only goal is to serve Cobra OverKill is Born!!
parts used:
Head Custom Cast from hunterartworks
Upper Torso IM Movie Whiplash
Mid-torso 25th Serpentor with added bits of belts and dremeled piece off of lower whiplash torso
Legs POC Duke modded with flex rex and 25th Bat holster an right leg piece
Arms Iron Man MU Modular Suit
modded arm with attachments vVv BAT right arm
gun built from fodder claw from 25th BAT
i was able to pop the arms off due to the fact the torso is one solid mold and a soft plastic and the Iron Man arms had small pegs and fit on and off perfect
the added arm i just wittled the arm peg down to do the same
background dio pieces:
Luke POTF Bacta Chamger
Custom Built Lab Table

Pretty cool figure, but I always thought of Overkill as a Cyborg, with both human and machine parts... Oh well, the figure is great anyway!

Very cool...a nice use for that head...it's got a LOT of personality.

I'm not wild about the color choice on the pants...it's not very Cobra...Green and camo say GI Joe or army...not Cobra...He really should have purple pants...like Mindbender just gave him a spare set of his own so the rest of the lab workers wouldn't be creeped out by robotic genitalia.

Might be neat to add a cobra sigil on the center chest light thing.

Also a "Brain Scanner" attachment like the Vintage figure had...How else is Overkill supposed to learn if he's not sucking information out of random people's heads.

i had thought about that with the purple pants but i wanted the green cause the later versions of him had green armor so i felt i should at least have an ode to that

While your concept of the character is fundamentally different from mine, your design and execution are fantastic. Love the intersecting towlines and how seamlessly you've meshed them.

Very cool figure, and excellent part-melding. It looks like it came off the shelf that way!

Are you referring to the Devil's Due comics? Overkill wasn't given the brain of the S.A.W. viper, he WAS the S.A.W. Viper, "Skelton", forcibly given cybernetic parts.

Love the figure.
And great timing for me as well: I've been working on an Overkill evolution of figures for upcoming End of Days episodes.

Yeah, there are some issues about how 'Overkill-y' he is, but DAMN that's some nice work. My only straight-out dislike is that non-swivel biceps are teh suck. You went thru so much obvious effort here, go on and give the dude some full and proper articulation, man. I would also cut him another bandanna, about twice the height of this one. That would allow it to rest at both the face-grabbing edge and where it rests on his chest, and then to fold and move naturally in between. More 'Raziel' and less 'Grifter', imho.

I like it all, apart from the bandanna. I'd either use a plastic one or just different material.
