Hey thanks everyone. I definitely got more work to do on it.

Quick question, I'm a forum virgin so I really don't know a lot about using them (everyone is more than welcome to laugh at me), is there a thread that will explain how to embed my photos directly into my posts? Or can someone quickly explain it to me? I'm not a complete tard so I should be able to understand it.

Thanks.

pm sent about using photobucket.

I'll echo Nova's comment specific to - can't wait to see the inside. Everything is looking really clean so far, and I continue to be impressed with the effects from the first post.

Outrageously cool, blue. You are coming in heavy here. :-D

Pardon me for having missed this. Welcome, too, btw.

Already a spectacular custom vehicle, and I'm very eager to see more of this monstrosity. Way cool.

As for being new to the forum tech, that just makes your original presentation all that much more impressive, too. Well done.

FIELD REPORT: Encoded level 1 priority.

Operative: BEACH HEAD -Counter intelligence specialist

Location: Gedo region of Somalia. Date/time: 11/16/2010 11:28
__________________________________________________________________
Mission:
Investigation of new unknown Cobra weapons and vehicles undergoing field-testing in North Africa.
__________________________________________________________________
Transmission intercepted:
Lost visual contact with the command vehicle near a ridge in the Juba Valley, due to heavy Jungle Viper presence in area. Was able to pick up its trail a few days later and intercepted the following transmission from the command vehicle to Cobra command. Took me several hours to decode transmission for relay.

>>CM-001 Transmission<<
All systems ready. Testing complete. A.R.C. and A.C.I.D. fully operational.
Ready to begin operation Northern Chaos. Awaiting your command.
>>END TRANSMISSION<<

__________________________________________________________________
Recommendations:
I don’t think Cobras going to wait around for us to make up our minds; we need to move on this target immediately. Suggest rendezvous with additional operatives in Baardheere so we can take this thing out. Operation Northern Chaos must not be allowed to happen.

END TRANSMISION>>

Command: General Abernathy

After hacking into Cobra industries mainframe Dialtone was able to locate a file on a prototype vehicle code named MOTH v1. We believe this is what you’ve encountered in North Africa.

Included with this transmission is the file data, including specs and personnel files, Dialtone secured.

After reviewing your transmissions and the information secured from Cobra, I agree with your assessment. Your new orders are to rendezvous with Snakeyes and Hardball in Makar, intercept and destroy that vehicle.

File Text Data CM-v1 Vehicle Specs:

The Cobra M.O.T.H. is a prototype vehicle used to support long-term campaigns in hostile or unstable parts of the world. Heavily armoured and protected by five manned gun turrets, a SAM system and anti aircraft cannon, and with eight fully independent armoured wheels, the MOTH can survive any terrain and combat situation.

Its primary function is as a tactical HQ; with use of the ACID (Advanced Combat Intelligence Data base) a new super computer that can calculate all combat variables and deliver on the fly combat strategies; the MOTH commander can give orders direct to troops in a variety of combat scenarios giving them a considerable advantage. Equipped with an armoury, a vehicle repair bay, and medical bay, it can support a full regiment of troops for several weeks completely autonomous of Cobra command.

The MOTH is also equipped with the prototype A.R.C. (Advanced Rail Cannon) from MARS. A variation of traditional rail guns the A.R.C. can fire live projectiles with explosive payloads at super sonic speeds from a great distance, making it an extremely devastating weapon capable of levelling entire cities in minutes.

It is currently deployed in North Africa where it is undergoing final field-testing of all systems. Once fully operational it will begin its mission to destabilize local governments by disrupting trade routes and destroying anything that gets in its way. Once the MOTHs capabilities have been tested in this area it will go into full production and deployment all over the world.

Very nice...I like it.

Very nice use of the MCC cabin roof to patch the hole at the rear of the Rolling Thunder.

Only change I'd make is to the Windshields. I'd either hit them with a solid Gloss black, or a candy red...

It looks like some Cobras have been stealing the Joe's heavy vehicle plans and redesigning them for their own purposes... and I LIKE IT! That is a very clever use to two already cool vehicles.

Only thing that bothers me and it is from the original is the open doors when it is closed up, I would cut some plasticard to fit the doors and make them so the can be removed when the base is open. Otherwise you have created an awesome Frankenstein's monster with this thing.

Agreed, but at his point I just want to feel like it's done at least for now. I've got six other vehicles I'm working on and I'd like to check this one off. Plus I'd need to do some spray paint work to get the doors to match and with sub zero temp out side i won't be doing any soon.
