While I'm working on my next few customs I had some down time and decided to upgrade my Aquaman head. I still wasn't 100% sold on my 3.0 version. I agree with the critiques that the 3.0 hair and beard were a tad too wild or bushy. I think the sculpting on the beard worked out better this time. I'm alot happier this time around.

I also did a Luke figure here as well. Now I'm as big a Star Wars fan as the next guy, but generally don't collect the figs. However I bought a Luke fig w/ the intent of using the head on another custom. That didn't end up working out so I had this Luke lying around. The store bought fig was kinda crappy and had terrible articulation. I've always loved the "Return of the Jedi" look so I decided upgrade the fig.

Incredible job and 100 percent better on the Aquaman head! Now, since the head is so well done, I would suggest changing the body to a Captain Marvel or Cyclops instead of the Punisher to make this a perfect custom!

Luke is a pure win! I also do not collect this line but if both this and drbindy's Han were on the racks I would buy them hands down!!

Awesome job!

Using the gold metallic orange paint is a great alternate to the scaled texture. Looks good.

Using that head for Aquaman is genius. I know want to see Jake play Aquaman.

I think if you replaced the holstered thigh on Luke he'd be perfect.

great choice for Aquaman, Rob. And the beard looks MUCH better than the other head did. I have that head targeted towards a specific project, or I would immediately copy it for an updated Civilian Rock N Roll I'm working on.

Luke is also very cool, and that is such a great yet simple body to use for him. I'm not sure if I do or don't dig the silver buttons, but I don't mind them overall. All the Luke figures I have look like 10 year olds compared to the customs in my collection, but now that Will mentions it, I do need to add a Luke to go with my Han, so this will at some point be borrowed.
