So I was toying with the idea (as we all do) of a specific Cobra type that owes it's evolution from the Resolute Cobra Trooper (hands down my fav Cobra).

So I adapted this idea I had for a 21st Century Russian Special Forces (minus the PoC Beachhead Helmet) and opted for the Ice Viper helmet, since it is rather Cobra-esque but feasible.

I've trimmed down some Clone Wars trooper hands, they work best with Thin arms (loose on thicker wrists).

Swapped out the lower Torso and crotch for a RoC Viper part, so the Belt and Holster fits snug.



Unsure of colours yet, maybe a muted Blue/Grey, as I don't want to go environment specific, as I want them to be able to be used in any setting/photo. I was going to keep the vests as they are, but then I added the Firefly body/parts, so maybe a Black or Dark Grey.

I finished these last week, but never got round to photographing, I blame the disgusting humidity level we're currently experiencing in the city (gah, dripping, dripping everywhere).

Anyway, Cobra Viper Commando:




I found that Citadel Chaos Black undercoat works wonders with the rubbery plastic parts on the figure (lower leggs, vests for example).

I miht make a few more, if I can get my hands on a Resolute 5 pack from my supplier.
