great stuff here! very good job of staying true to the originals, and the ones you changed up are still instantly recognizable!

my favorite figure is Zanzibar, but my favorite thing you posted here is that Thunder Machine -- Awesome! I like how you used that piece of packing material for the armor, but the doors are truly inspired! Nice update!

Some great stuff, really solid work on all of em, Zanzibar and Thrasher are outstanding! my only critique would be that some of the paint is a tad glossy, don't know if thats the camera or the paint, if its the paint grab a jar of testors flat base and mix a little in with the paint, helps mute the sheen.

The Thunder machine is bad ass, fantastic idea!

Nice job, especially for your first post! I dig Road Pig, the Torch with the skullcap and the Thunder Machine the best. Welcome aboard

The Thunder Machine is fantastic. A good update.

Torsh threw me off with the RAH arms, but somehow it works in a weird way.

It is a combination of both on the gloss i think. Camera and slight glossy. I cant find testors in my area so i use cheap paints. My method to solve the softness of them is to mix flat and gloss together to get the paint harder. Sometimes I do a good job of getting the mix right, sometimes I do not. When sitting on my shelf it is unoticable, but as soon as a flash hits the figure the shine comes right out. It seems to happen with any color that has blue or red mixed in. Any ideas on fixing it other than not using any gloss at all?

I appreciate everyone's comments. I am going to post a few more of my joe customs later after dinner. Big Boa, Suited Cobra commander, Zombie Flint, and an ad lib Stormshadow.
