Robert Skelton was a SAW Viper assigned to Cobra's advanced technology recovery team.
During one such mission to recover a downed saucer he was tasked with the killing of the ships pilot.
A Joe team arrived and a firefight started. One of the Joe soldiers must have hit a power cell. The ship went up with Skelton caught up in the inferno.
When he came around he was in the medical wing of Cobra's HQ. His squad had recovered him. However the damage was major, he had lost all 4 limbs and his skin had suffered major burns.
A Cobra scientist offered him the chance to be a front line operative and asked if he was aware of the "BAT" initiative. Skelton wasn't but was soon filled in. He was given 4 new robotic limbs with the arms being able to be fitted with weapons. He was also fitted with state of the art armour including a BAT helmet with full control capabilities.
Skelton was renamed OVERKILL and put in charge of the BATs. He developed a thirst for power and some wondered if something had passed between him and the alien saucer pilot.
Eventually some of his former squad members started to disappear and new individual BAT's bean to show up.
OVERKILL's rise to power was just beggining.

I wanted to fit Overkill into my Area 51 style Joeverse. It will turn out that the alien pilot has mindblended with Skelton and driven his lust for power. Various other unique BAT's will turn up to join his command structure as he brings his old squad on board.

Thanks for looking.

Good use of the Doctor Rex head. Works for the character.
