  • This section is for honest critique of the work shown here. Members are encouraged to give and accept non-confrontational constructive criticism as well as adoring praise and everything in between.
  • In order to show case everyone's work equally, please post multiple customs on the same day into a single thread. If you have a lot of pictures of your work you may have to add them to a separate post within that thread.
  • Please do not link to a sale thread or to eBay from your critique thread. This section isn't to be used to market your finished work. The Market Place section is better suited for that purpose.

I never disliked Robin though also never really found the character that interesting either. So may seem odd for me to make a custom of the character. The other day I picked up a Bucky figure for the parts for another custom. That head kept screaming Robin. So much that I started digging arround to find parts to make a Robin that I would be proud to have part of my "verse". There was a Imperial Knight sitting conveniently nearby and I thought, "hmm that looks kinda like Batman styled armor..." and so I continued the project.
I present to you Battle Armor Robin...

Head - MU Bucky
Upper Torso and Arms - SW Imperial Knight
Mid Torso - SW Cade Skywalker
Lower Torso - ? (Modern Sculpt Joe figure I am guessing)
Cod Peice - Part of Televiper Arm
Upper Legs - V34 Snake Eyes
Knees - Snow Serpent heavily modified
Lower Legs and Feet - SW Cade Skywalker
Neckwrap - Resolute Test Pilot Destro

Cool idea. The IK armour (and Bucky head) works incredibly well for the character. Have you thought about using Winter Soldier's head for Nightwing? :)

great job dion,I really like the colors and the head is definately robin.I have it to for a robin as well.
Only part I don't like is thecrotch area but you got joe legs on a Sw torso so thats cool....

I like him. The only thing I would change is to darken the hair. It looks brown instead of black.

@Tanstoys: Ya the crotch area did not turn out as well as I hoped but it was better than the origional one beneath the modded area.
@Pluv: You are right, that was what kept looking wrong to me. I just repainted the hair. Will post pics hopefully later on tonight.

Awesome work! The only critique I can even give would be to maybe use a decal instead of a painted logo. But really doesn't matter.

Very original style on this. Nice parts selections. Wow so many great Robin figs on the board this week between this Iron Will's and Unknownsoldier13's.
