*big love to JFAK for helping me out on the heads...

so, the final puzzle piece to the non-dio shot of njc 15 is non other than the subversive soldier-scientists looking to hook up with Vlad Tepes, kicking Destro out of the country, and by the time they're finished, replacing MARS as the #1 dealer in underground weapons and technology...

no, sir. the head is a villian fig from Indiana Jones, modded with a ball joint & cloned by the man. arms & feet are corps! firefighters, torsos & thighs are barbeque, can't name the waists, with some misc pouches, test tubes, walkie-talkies & gun...

edit: and some maurader john 'last resorts' pinned to their chests...

Very cool looking figures. Nice paint apps. They look very clean and crisp. The head is actually not an Indy villian but is in fact a villian from the Remco Crystar The Crystal Warrior line of figures. His name is Zardeth.

Nice work.

Very cool, JM. Although now I'm getting nostalgic for my old Crystar figs :P

So how exactly do you paint with yellow and not have it come out all jacked up from slapping on coat after coat to get it to look right? Is it just primer, or is there a better technique to it?

EDIT: -and of course, Raps steps all over my post while I'm typing...

:P

I think you did a bang-up job on these. They look totally production. Absolutely nothing to critique. :-D

Hey JM - the spray paint doesn't freeze up the joints, does it? I've had that problem when spraying parts before (mainly on the arms, since I can't disassemble the "swivel grip".)

And they do kinda look like cheese sculptures, but cheese rocks, so that just adds to the coolness factor :P
