These would be neat customs themselves...

Here it is next to the Z Force Jeep I based the Camo pattern on.

Also, while I was painting the Red, I finished up a couple other Vehicles I've had in progress. Credit needs to go to Kevin Watts as these are Direct rip's of customs He did a while back. These 2 Maggots were both Discolored by the sun. I like that the finish ended up a Bright Red-Orange because it's painted over the Yellow. I need to decide weather I want to try and order custom colored Stickers for these 2, or If I should just buy a stock set.

Paint ran out so I didn't get to fully finish This one.

At this point I've got a few tweaks left to make and then I'll be ready to cast. Anybody have recommendations for getting a really nice smooth finish? Any specific products? or do I just need to get a bunch of sand paper in progressively finer grits.

Cool idea making a fat guy buck. I would definitely get it pretty close to where you want it with sandpaper, but there is a product that will help fill in imperfections in the surface, smooth out the transition areas between the figure parts and modeling putty, and leave a factory-like smooth finish. It's an automotive product called Plasti Kote Scratch Color. Comes in a 1 oz. bottle with a brush cap. It's weird stuff, I don't know how it leaves such a smooth surface, but it seems to have enough of a surface tension that even when you brush the stuff on pretty recklessly it will still smooth itself out. The stuff looks like this.

That is a real crimsony red on the Awe striker. I didn't know what you were going for until you showed it. I'm not a fan of the red antennas. I think with the camera, struts and steering, and the red Z on there somewhere that will be plenty of color.

Personally I'm not a fan of any red in the Z Force world, but I like the rest of the A.W.E. Striker.
The Maggot's are even better.
