Hey guys,

Had some spare parts that screamed to be put together, and here is what I came up with: Mirage.

I kinda like it... Tell me what you think.

Nifty. I've always liked Mirage's look, and this is a very effective updating of that concept. The only suggestions I'd make is that his goggles look a little clunky with a seperate band running over the communications headpiece (though I realise that changing that would probably entail losing the removability), and that he should have a missile launcher of some sort in addition to his rifle.

That's some tight camo paint apps, excellent work.

I like him from the knees up. The leg robotics were such a big part of the figures design that giving much smaller calves is really throwing me off. Maybe just some bulkier space boots would suit him better.

I know, but HISS Tank Driver legs are getting harder and harder to come by... I just wanted them to be armored some way, and the Rampage lower legs were the best I could come up with from my scrap parts bins...

Thanks to everyone for the feedback!

Like that a lot.

I would agree with pluv that sometechno-kibble is in order, but otherwise very nice.

I used thatsame head for mine.

I really like this.

I do agree that the goggles look a little clumsy. Maybe even painting them black would tone them down a little.

Paint apps are as bad as usual ;)>

That head is a great choice. Absolutely feels like Mirage's head

The more I look at this figure, the more I like it. The camo pattern on the hard shell parts of the uniform? Perfect.

Thanks for the feedback and ideas... I am definitely considering doing something with the lower legs. Maybe it will be a surprise for all of us! :mirage2:

I have a Mirage WIP using the same head, and I chose a thinner pair of goggles, cut off the band and glued them in place. It looks a bit more realistic/tidier, but then you'd lose the ability to remove them.

I quite like the rest of him that camo is sweet. Maybe you could keep the same lower legs but jut bilk them up with some kibble. A knife or a holster or something?
