  • This section is for honest critique of the work shown here. Members are encouraged to give and accept non-confrontational constructive criticism as well as adoring praise and everything in between.
  • In order to show case everyone's work equally, please post multiple customs on the same day into a single thread. If you have a lot of pictures of your work you may have to add them to a separate post within that thread.
  • Please do not link to a sale thread or to eBay from your critique thread. This section isn't to be used to market your finished work. The Market Place section is better suited for that purpose.

 Post subject: DC Brainiac and Batman 2012

Based off the current Action Comics 899, here is Brainiac. I made the head so that the small gems pop off the silver conduit sculpts, which have circular divets that can be filled in with neon pink gloss paint to have more of an internal energy look. For now I like it as is though.


I had a left over torso from my original Batman Beyond, so I decided to do Bruce in an early prototype suit. I still plan on adding small glide wings from the MU Spiderwoman figure.

Truly awesome Brainiac! I've been wanting to make this version but couldn't find a base that I liked. I will definitely be borrowing from this design. Great work, Also the Prototype Batman is impressive as well.

YES!!!! I love this brainiac. You absolutely nailed it. That is the perfect base for that fig. I never thought the nano suit fig would good for anything. very nice eye for parts. Being a huge Superman fan this may actually be my favorite custom of yours to date. Outstanding.
