Yeah this stuff is very very cool. I love the mods you make to get the effects you want. Awesome.

Thanks guys. I was starting to wonder if anybody was looking at this thread.

Mechanical stuff, I know. It's the sculpting that goes over it, that I'm still kind of winging.

Keep the faith. There are many of us following this thread. I just never felt the need to comment til the end.

It can be disheartening when you post something youve put many hours of work in and it gets no comments.

But rest assured, the stuff youre doing is so innovative, original and boundary changing that its getting watched and appreciated

Wow! 8-O Thanks! I know it's pretty different from the usual stuff here, but I didn't think it was that special.

Hoping to have my alter ego finished within about a week or so. (depending on how long it takes me to recuperate from my dentist visit, Wednesday) Then, I'll hopefully get back to work on Vic and Alek. Got a couple of Cobra troops I want to get started on, too.

Just a quick update. No work on him tonight, since I'm recuperating from my dentist's visit. Threw in Thor, for a sense of scale. I need to redo his tail and finish his hands, then I can do the paint wash, and detail painting.

Okay. Greyryder is finished, except for accessories. And, that one bare spot I noticed on his elbow, when I took the pictures....

Right hand is modified from a Marvel Universe figure. I thickened up the thumb and middle finger, with Green Stuff. The fur on the back of it, and the extension at the base of the hand are Apoxie Sculpt. The left hand is scratch built from Green Stuff, with Apoxie Sculpt fur on the back. The posts for both were turned from Styrene tubing.

WOW! That looks great, what's his back story? or have you put it up already, I like the way the fur is consistent all over the body and the Armour and Visor look great very smooth!

I definitely love the progression of these from first start to finished custom. It has been a treat to see the sculpting of an original personal idea custom.

Definitely awesome work there.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the kind words.

G.I.JAC, no back story posted on him, so far. He's a dimension hopping, super scientist, werewolf, adventurer. I honestly don't have much more for him, than that.

Superb. Its been a treat watching this come together.

And the end result fully justifies following this thread.

Your sculpting is outstanding. Im particularly impressed with that left hand. Difficult to see that its done from scratch.

I also like the armoured look. Very unusual.

I take it this will be a character that keeps full cognitive abilities when transformed?

Seeing him now sorta reminds me of that Star Wars wolf character, only with clone armor, give him a light saber and BAM ! Instant Jedi Knight General. Definitely cool sculpting work and the paints look great.
