They are both great, though I love action man, what paint did you use and is the symbol a decal?

I don't even know Mace, so I guess you are right on that one. lol. but I love your custom of him. Can tell you put some work into that helmet contraption, and I know it must be a tribute to the original. But as just a custom figure, pic 1 is my favorite.

Action Man I do know - have a seen a few takes on him before, and I really dig your version of him here. My only critique is a personal, nit-picky one, and that's simply that I'm not a fan of the head, but that doesn't mean your custom doesn't rock.

agreed, the heads been bugging me since I snapped the pics, (looked good in hand at the time) thinking of changing to Hawks head or POC Dusty. what do you think? or is there something better out there?

thanks,I assume you mean the Orange? a mixture of Citadel, yellow, gore red and skull white. The symbol is my 1st crack at a water slide decal, this one tirned out all right, but I made some for Tracker and when I went to apply them the color faded until it was barely reconizable!

I think I like POC dusty more than Hawk, but I can also think of 3 or 4 Star Wars heads that would work perfect. Saw one of these before with a painted Matt Trakker head too, and it worked out really well.

Love both of them (Mace w/o helmet). Action Man looks great. These two are on my to do list but now I may have to skip them. Yours are that awesome.

Great work as always. Hasbro should be taking notes.

Actually, it looks quite a bit like the (modified HoF Flint?) headsculpt they used for the 12" Action Man figures circa 1995, albeit a bit more smarmy-looking, perhaps (the hair really makes me think of Tiger Strike/Operation T.I.G.E.R.). Anyway, great work on the paint and parts, and as for Mace, he's simply awesome. One of the nicest body designs of the late-run RAH characters, beautifully updated.

Operation Tiger is reason enough to change that head for Action Man. The further away form that concept you get the better. :D

Mace is sweet. I like the update to thew helmet a lot.

Saw these on HissTank and really like them both. That being said, a different head on AM wouldn't hurt... but it isn't a necessity, either...
