Cheap crappy RC Car + Junk Hammer shell ends up like this...but it's a bit boring.

Any thoughts on what kind of Paint Job would make this Pop?

Monster truck tires and overgrown brush bar make it look more like something the Dreadnoks would field.

I've wanted to do an RC project like this. Such a cool idea. No thoughts on the paint job, but I am looking forward to seeing it.

Agreed. The two-tone green from the Ground Assault set would look pretty cool on it. Look forward to seeing where you go with this.

Because of the blue on the rims I almost think you should use that on the hummer body and make it cobra.

Given the blue on the rims, and your twisted and generally offensive vehicle aesthetic, I point your attention towards the eco striker.

I mean how much better could it be to have Joe's environmental group tooling around in a giant hummer monster truck with blinged out rims? Just give it the blue and yellow treatment, stick a "Hybrid" sticker on the back, and you're ready to go....

Edit: And you can call it the "Planet Hammer"

The way that it looks now (and with the addition of a big ole missile launcher) it could be an updated version of the Battle Wagon

If you do, I would avoid the "New Bright" brand of RC vehicles. This truck is a "New Bright" vehicle...I got it for $20 on clearance, and it broke the 1st time I drove it. The post that connects the front wheel to the Steering Link bar snapped right off. There's also no real suspension, throttle and steering are All or Nothing.

Dreadnoks is a solid idea....I'd lean towards the colors of the Thunder Machine or Air Assault set...Blue, Maroon, and Highlights of Green....Pretty sure I've got 4 of the extra Stun wheel covers from the Dreadnok Stun.

I knew there was a reason I liked you...Eco Warriors is an awesome idea...now to see if I still have that squirt gun for the Eco Striker.

Totally awesome idea, the Hammer hull looks great on top of the RC monster truck!

YO JOE!

The G.I. Joe (R) Planet Hammer (tm) Is the Eco Warriors newest weapon against poisonous arsenal of COBRA (R) and Cesspool (TM)! Its dual v12 Engines and Monster Tires will take it anywhere over trees and brush! Its Anti Tox Napalm shooting cannon will burn away the Rainforest around the Cobra (R) Secret Bio Tox Lab, releasing Cobra's (R) Sludge (tm) safely into the river water! The environment hangs in the balance (tm) - Time to hit it with the PLANET HAMMER (tm)!

I used the same brand vehicle to RC my Vamp. I admit that New Bright is not the best, but unless you want to spend a few hundred to RC a five to ten dollar toy, they are not bad. I used the 1:24th for the parts. As for suspension, you could always pick up part from your local RC shop to add realistic suspension to the Hammer.
