I was expecting Jafar and Princess Jasmine's father when I opened the thread. :shifty:

these are far better though. :-D great work on these customs, awesome use of all the parts that otherwise seem limited in versatility.

Disney? 8-O MEH!!!!!! :monocle: I was going through my fodder box last week, and I found a Dumbledore with broken glasses. The Vizier sprang to mind immediately. Then I wanted to make a Sultan to go with him. I was at a toy mart at the weekend and saw the SW figure cheap. sanded down a Road Pig head as that has chubby cheeks to go with the corpulent figure.

The detailing is amazing. Clean and crisp. I can't wait to see more.

Most awesome. Most awesome indeed. Exceptional gem work, and painting. They look as if they were created that way from the very beginning. Better, actually. Would that figures like these came two-packed with accessories like the Army of Darkness figures did. To date, that to me was the epitome of how a company "got it right".

You have such great base materials over that side of the ocean. I'd be truly exhausted with the creation of all that I could think of with them.

Thanks, guys. Just finished up doing the parts preparation for my next custom in this theme. No turbans or gemstones this time. Quite a simple job of parts swapping and repainting, with minimum sculpting.

What I like most is how well you capture the colors and textures with your painting with just enough jewels so it doesn't look cheesey. Too much and it looks like you bedazzled a figure.

Wow! I absolutely never would have guessed that was a Road Pig head.

Great work on these. Nice to see Hassan has some company.

Man, I didn't even notice the jewels on first look. You integrated them into the overall design very well. These guys look like they've stepped out of the pages of a Conan comic, and that's a very good thing indeed. Nice hob disguising the original heads too.

The jewels come on small sheets and have sticky backs, although I use a small amount of clear glue to secure them. They do come in various colours, but I always buy the clear ones and [paint over them with Tamiya clear colours. Saves having to buy a sheet of each colour.
