I fully intend fleshing out my Conan Universe. I was flicking through some of the colour reprints of Conan the Barbarian from the 1970s and came across the story: 'The Hand of Nergal'. Robert E Howard only wrote a synopsis and the start of the story, which Lin Carter finished and restored to get the whole thing in print. Later, Roy Thomas adapted it with art by John Buscema and Ernie Chua in the comic. One thing that struck me was how much the Hand of Nergal in the comic looked like an accessory I had picked up in a cheap toy set. I already had a figure base coated for an earlier abandoned custom. It gave it a new set of legs and arms, a new head and hands and a bit of sculpting and finished up with a nice quick and easy LBC:
Munthassem Khan:Head: Cast of Order 66 Palpatine
Robes: Rep Been
Arms: Saga Palpatine
Hands: ?
Legs: Bail Organa
Hand of Nergal: cheap knock-off
