These are great. The sculpting on the torso, arms and legs especially. I always dug this look, but not for the general troopers. I was thinking of making this the colour scheme for the Snow Serpent commander for my Joeverse. I think you've helped me decided to do just that with these.

That figure design never looked this good when Hasbro was trying it out.

Really well done.

Oh man I wish you has used the 98 grey and white color scheme or even the light blue and red color scheme. I never cared for the brown and yellow color scheme. Fantastic modifications though.

This was my take too. Never thought much of that design one way or the other, but you've done a great job convincing me, even with that original, unusual color scheme.

It seem that Hasbro still has alot to learn. Very nice work I like that color scheme and the vintage fig was one of my favorite Cobra troops. Excelent 25th version.

Yeah, I always loved the SSv2 design over the original's, altho the color scheme never made any sense like so much of the latter RAH stuff. i did a removable-hat version of the RAH fig about a decade ago, but I made all the fur be snow leopard pelt:

if you're gonna do an officer, that's the suggestion I'd give.

I would also like to see the '98 color scheme, but these are awesome. They feel a bit more desert than arctic, based on the color scheme alone, but they rock.
