Just wanted to make the Marvel Universe figure look more like some of the artwork, I've seen. I sculpted the fabric wrinkles across the chest. Then, I added the raised seam lines, so many drawings of her seem to have. I repainted all the white to keep it matching, and get rid of the poorly executed blue shading effect the figure came with. Wound up repainting her belt, as well.

The big question was whether I should go with the high cut leg opening, that come up above the belt, high cut leg openings, with the belt at the waist, or low cut leg openings, with the belt low slung "hip hugger" style. I opted for the low openings and belt. I like the look, and I think it helps set her apart from a lot of other female super types.

Was hard to get a good picture of her, with the dark skin tone, and light clothing. This was the best one I got.

Thanks. I wish that picture didn't pull all the depth out of them.

Very nice man. Very nice. Statuesque without making her a statue. The clothing wrinkles really sell it as a chick wearing a dress, which is something the unmodded figure just couldn't do.

Thanks guys.

I know what you mean drb, the MU bucks are tailored more for painted on clothes, than any kind of realistic clothing textures or effects.

fun theory: the piping/seam lines added to help keep perspective on body parts when drawing poses ;)

To prevent, or facilitate a Power Girl-esque inflating chest scenario?

Looks much better, like clothes should. I've only bought Shadowcat to use as a future custom, but its dissapointing how MU only has one female body which they use to paint on all the clothes. In a way I guess its better than nothin, probably the closest thing to Microman's material force figures we'll ever get.

That small mod works so well. If the new tooling didn't cost a butt load of money I'd be upset with Hasbro for not doing it in the first place.
