Just finished these up over the weekend. I finally have a Commander that does not look like a scrawny wimp. Leatherneck is one half of a battle set that I am working on...can you guess what battle scene?

Cape and sword belt- Comic Pack Cobra Commander (I modified the scabbard to hang lower)

Snake thingy with red gem-??? found in fodder lot

Head- Gun Ho
Torso- ROC Zartan disguised
Upper arms- Unkown GI Joe figure
Lower arms- Flint ??
Upper legs- Gung Ho with Snake Eyes knife sheath
Lower legs- Pit Commando
Vest- Mutt
Gun- Found in fodder lot, sling made from masking tape
Flail- made from Desert Striker mine, Snake Eyes tri-nunchuk and chain

Great work on both. I really like that Commander - it has a Resolute feel but in a classic way.

Excellent work as always Bcost. There was a new sculpt era CC that was rather on the buff side that I liked, as he looked intimidating, Your custom fits that bill nicely too.

Leatherneck is one of the best I've seen. That Mutt vest is perfect (Hasbro, are you paying attention? Buzzer torso indeed!) as is the rest of the parts combo.

Two excellent customs.

As far as a "scene," is it from "The Rotten Egg" or "The Joes and Golden Fleece?" Or are you going to a reinactment from Gladiator?

Both are great, but really liking that CC. The legs are a huge improvement over the awful CG legs. Love the RAHC-style paint washes too.
