Thanks guys!

Cap, I fell in love with Hellchick's design, when I first saw the line art. The only intentional change I'm planning to make, is some wrapping around her knees in the artwork. I'm planning to make them bloody bandages over fresh cybernetic implants. The artist gave her big metal boots, that are unclear if she's wearing them, or if they're implants. Given that she was intended to be a Quake 4 player model, cybernetics seemed fitting.

drbindy, I think you give me too much credit. I'm a hack, I'm just persistent. (Not to be confused with a persistent hacking cough.) Though, I certainly appreciate the praise. I post this stuff, because I'm an attention whore. ;)

Most of my own monster hunter stuff is an off shoot of my web comic. I've mostly created my own monsters for my heroes to fight. I've just thrown some intelligent werewolf good guys into the mix. I've yet to read those book, but I really need to track down at least the first one.

Thanks guys! (I say that a lot, don't I?)

G.I.JAC, I'm so resisting the urge to make a crack about gauging interest, and releasing a convention exclusive.

I need to make a Zarana....

Okay, I decided to leave V3's head where it is, and make a mold of for V4. V3's hair isn't flexible enough, so V4 gets a hair hinge. Just need to finish up a few details on the head, and make a couple of accessories. I think he's probably got the most convincing rifle holding pose of any figure I own.

As for V3, I've sculpted and torn out his collar, once already. I'm not entirely happy with it, yet, so I'll be removing at least part of it, again. I also need to tweak his hairline. This is the head that was originally on V1, before I decided to go back to a non-removable helmet.

Finally pulled myself away from Minecraft long enough to get started on Hellchick's horns. She has five pairs of horns, not counting the thorn like spikes she has in several places. Two pair of them, are this style, and these are the ones that have been scaring me, since I started this project. I'm just glad that the two like this on the other side of he head are broken/burned off. The shorter stubs will make my life easier. I've only stared sculpting on this one, so far, and it's going to need a few more sessions, before it's finished. The other one's going to be harder to make, and I'll be sculpting it separate, and adding it to the head, after it's finished. I focused my pictures on just showing the detail in the horn. Didn't show the back, because it's got a couple of messed up spots.

Angel's weapons have been bothering me for a while, they're too chunky looking. They were the best I could do at the time, but it was time to see if I could make something little more to scale.

Image

Old ones are on the left. I kept the blades the same length, but lengthened the handle on the sword. Finally made the guards reach as far down as the pommels, too. I'll need to make new scabbards for them, but I'm already planning some reworking on Angel V1, anyway.

In an anticipation of further changes to Angel, I finally finished her swappable lower left arm, with the extended gauntlet blades and clenched fist. I'm also planning to do some reworking on Killroy's articulation. (including getting rid of those gorram IM2 ball hips) Here's a shot of them together, in their current incarnations. You can see, I've distressed Killroy's paint, since the last pictures I took of him.

Thanks guys! :-D

OneForceLeader, I love seeing other people's WIP sculpting shots, so I try to take more of my own. Kind of helps make up for how slow I am at finishing these things.
