There were three of each on the pegs at the Target I found them at, the only other comic packs were older ones I'd seen there before, so I think that at least the initial shipment of this wave is all new packs, no carry forwards. I believe the Wonder Man/Pietro and Warlock/Thanos packs are the next wave. Seems like they're only doing two new sets a wave now (wasn't it three when they started? can't remember).

I like this new wave, but why did they have to use the Extremis Armor again for Iron Man ??

It's even worse. That is just Multiple Man's head repainted.

I found a pair of Luke & Danny 2packs for me and Liftoff, and a Capt Brit & Spidey set for myself, and Liftoff found me the TaskPool 2pack and the new Cmdr Steve and DarkHawk figs, and kept X23 for himself (the bastid).

Luke is pretty cool, aside from the "LASER BLAST" hands and the ankle shelf the big-guy buck he's built from; and the always-atrocious paint washes the line is hampered by. But, the new bits they gave him, the torso and arms, are great. The face doesn't look right somehow, but it's not horrid. Just doesdn't really look like 70s Luke Cage to me.

The Iron Fist fig is "LASER BLAST" on toast. Still built on the now-worst buck in the line and still saddled with the too-long abdomen, the horrid hands and feet, and the shelves at wrist and ankle. This is the third (fourth?) time around for Danny Rand and not a damned one of him is worth having.

V1 Capt Brit is keen, aside from the same crappy hands and ankle issues that buck has. And the moob joint really does a dis-service to characters with all-torso designs. Aside from that stuff, he's pretty keen.

Spidey has *very* nice paint apps and a new (for me) head and the new swiveled thighs; but it's still a Spidey fig that can't look up when crawling on all fours, still has the horrid hands every character on this buck gets, still has the crappy ankles and wrists with too-long 'cuffs' that limit articulation, still has the too-long abdomen that's just stupid looking, and still has the same bizarre webline accessory that doesn't look like *any* depiction his webs have ever had with more webline behind his wrist than in front.

Oh, and I'm *REALLY* getting sick of the mis-colored joint pieces. That's some serious amateur-hour "LASER BLAST", Hasbro. If you were stupid enough to put the joint inserts on the same molds as certain body parts so they have to be molded in colors of parts they don't end up connecting; that's your damn dumbass fault and you need to put out the money to rectify the issue by making stand-alone joint piece molds so they can be cast in colors to match whatever they're gonna connect up to.

Idiots.

Joints are a different type of plastic, which requires a different mold and equipment to run parts. It likely isn't cost effective to do it another way. At least they make some effort to match them, Bandai doesn't bother at all.

What is with that weird left hand on Absorbing Man? The only time I ever stretched my hand out like that was when I traced it to draw a turkey on construction paper in elementary school.
