Damn I hate your customs because they are always perfect. Great job like usual.

Gaaaah, that Battle Corps flint is excellent. One of my first figures as a kid, love it!

BC Flint is amazing. The sculpting on him is right up there with your Raptor in my eyes. The only teeny tiny nit picky thing that isn't even worth mentioning except it may help you later is you kept the texturing on the waist but it doesn't transition down the rest of the legs. I realize it is on the base body so it is just something to keep an eye out for on your future customs.

Budo is just impressive. You've taken everything that was cool about the original and amped it up by a factor of 10. Bigger, meaner helmet with mask, beefier torso armor, and a much more traditional samurai looking head sculpt all make for a much more interesting character design.

I'm not 100% sold on the Light foot helmet. The figure is great by the way. The original was so squared off that it is a little jarring for me seeing a more AntMan like rounded version. Could just be a matter of preference though. So I wouldn't put too much stock into my opinion on it.

Love Flint and Budo.

Lightfoot is awesome except the chest plate looks a little "soft"-y'know what I mean.

I don't think I've ever seen a BC Flint update before and you show off how cool that design actually is. I love everything about Budo except his hair, which I'd rather see in flat black. And Lightfoot is another great update.

BC Flint's just incredible. That's a great figure to update, really great job on it.

Definitely one of those customs that I'd like to see Hasbro steal the recipe to.

Budo's hair is supposed to be flat black but I swear Testors is mixing gloss into every paint now, even the flats.

I enjoy that you're going deeper on the bench for inspiration.

BC Flint really is great. A very faithful to the idea update.

Budo is a nice blend of samurai sensibilities and modern soldier practicality. It works much better for me than the original design.

Lightfoot is probably my least favorite. It's a combination of the more rounded helmet and the less rigidly defined chest padding that make him seem more like an approximation than a tribute. Of course, he might just be suffering from his proximity to the awesome BC Flint.

BC Flint
I'm torn about how you incorporated Flint's beret into his BC look. I like that it calls back to the character's trademark. The black ties in nicely with the figure's highlights. It's just the concept that I have trouble accepting. If Flint improvised a bit of environmental protection by tucking a cloth under his beret, I like it. The thing is, this outfit is clearly geared for the desert, and it's hard to swallow.

That said, it and the rest of the custom are very solid. I would not even called the beret helm a criticism as much as an observation.

Budo
The chest plate is the perfect part choice, except that it hangs big and loose on the figure. I think he at least needs bigger or more armoured boots to even out the bulk.

Lightfoot
My only critique is that you faithfully adapted the bright blue that clashed with the rest of the figure's yellow and green. I would have much preferred a Night Force Lightfoot. That would be a different concept, but as you showed with Flint and Budo, you're willing to make design choices that improve on the original design.

The original Battle Corp Flint figure had a beret. I went off the filecard art where it was black. The toy they got lazy with and just cast the beret and cloth in tan.

I do have a Night Force Lightfoot on the way now that I finally got a second Blowtorch. I do prefer the NF colors, but I did the original version first, I think I was trying to make every Joe in that year.

The one thing I can say is that anytime I see figures like this, I can tell immediately who did them, because they fit that person's style.

No need to read any description or who's thread it is. I know it's iwbeta's.

I think that is is good thing when the work is so recognizable.
