Yeah that pretty much sucks doesn't it? I mean sure I can use the Cap in that set and pop the Steve head for an unmasked Cap. And I do need a Thor torso for a custom but Wolvie, Spidey and Iron Man would just be a waste for me to get. And this set will probably cost about $50 and be hard to find so yeah a pain in the just for a wicked cool clear shield.

Found the X-23 wave today at Target. Picked up X-23, Commander Rogers and Darkhawk. I left Namor and Ultron on the pegs. I really Rogers he's a great fig. Darkhawk's wings suck, but otherwise he's good. X-23 is awesome from the waist up.... the legs are the silliest things I've seen since Joe new sculpt figs. Her thighs are about as long as her arms her lower legs are way too long making her almost a full head taller than the old MU female mold. So X-23 is taller than Ms. Marvel. It's a an easy fix though.

There were Steve Rogers and X-23s added at Target. I grabbed the best Rogers they had and passed on X-23.

The Iceman wave is starting to show up in PA. Saw them in State College. Iceman uses the terrible lanky body. Absorbing Man looks cool, except for that one hand that looks terrible. Iron Man feels pointless. Magento looks awesome, except that weird black wash over his face. Astonishing Wolvie is the best Wolverine toy ever made, I think.

It's a different paint deco -silver stripes and boot detail. I'm glad though since now I won't have to replace my custom original costume Darkhawk.

Got Rogers yesterday, what a cool and fun figure.
He poses great too. Tempted to get a few to make a small team by either using the black Steel Brigade helmet from the Pit Commando or using random Joe and SW heads...
