I've been away from the site for awhile, but I finally went on a kick and completed 5 WIPS. I had these figs sitting in various stages on my work bench for months. With the relaunch of DC going so well it really gave me the itch to bang these out. The first is the new look Red Arrow. I've always loved Roy as a character(when hes not written as a junkie). I really like him in the new DCU, he's got his arm back, he's off drugs and he's a badass again. The new costume design is pretty neat too. I'm a huge Green Arrow fan and GA may be the only relaunch book that I truly don't like. With Ollie getting the shaft treatment I really have to rely on Roy even more to get my Arrow fix. The current bow is a stop-gap until my Storm Shadow compound bow comes in the mail. Next up is DC's Frankenstein. I love the way he's being written in the DCnU. He's basically DC's hellboy. One of my surprise favs of the relaunch so far I must say. Next is Grifter, he's a character that I've always loved. I'm ecstatic that he's in the DCU now. I really wanted to nail the mask on this fig. I used a cobra commander head and very finely carved off the face. I then glued and sculpted it over a MU Cpt. Marvel head. I'm really happy with how it worked.I went for his new look without the trench coat. Let me know how it looks guys. Next is a classic DC fig. Superman wearing the black suit from his resurrection during the 90s death and return run. With the DCU getting a reboot I really wanted to do a fig from my favorite story from the old DC Universe. Nothing tops Supes death and return for me as a Superman fan. Last but not least is an update and redue of my Quicksilver. I started from scratch and completely overhauled this fig. I finally did the wings this time around too, thanks to the release of the MU Falcon fig. The only part of my first Quicksilver I used was the head. I will be giving him a Tally Hawk as well yet. Well as always let me know what you guys think. Man its been awhile since I've posted anything..feels good.

Those are all awesome. I never thought of using the Thor base for Red Arrow. Frank is really cool, and perfection on Res. Supes. You stole my thunder on QS. I've been waiting to find a Darkhawk to do the same.

Red Arrow looks fantastic. You even have tattoos on his arm.

As soon as I saw the preview for Frankenstein I was thinking what a cool custom figure that would be. Glad you did it and it came out exactly as cool as I thought it would.

I love that resurrection Superman. You nailed it.

Quicksilver is my favorite custom of the group.

These are all high quality, but that Quicksilver - wow!

Makes me want to watch that show for the first time in a long time.

Great job all the way around! Quicksilver is my favorite and great use of parts! Iron Man legs, HISS Driver head with Serpentor Helm both inspired picks! Superman is probably my second favorite of these!

Only 2 crits I have are possibly finding smaller pieces for Frank's neck bolts and maybe thinning Grifter's mask a bit.

I have to admit I think Quicksilver is my favorite of your figures so far. The rest look great too, your work to me has grown as you have continued to create figures. I like a lot of your choices for parts and your paints are nailing it.

These are all amazing my favorites are quicksilver and Red arrow, I specially like how good the domino mask looks on him. Great paint apps on all of these!

Thanks so much guys. Having done an absurd amount of Superman customs over the years I think the Resurrection Supes was my favorite attempt so far. It really means alot to hear the good feedback on him. As for the Frank bolts, I can definetily understand and agree with the crit on the size. I do plan on scaling them back a bit. I was surprised at how the bnb Razor Ramon head turned out for Frank so I really want to touch up the bolts. I appreciate very much all the positive feedback on the Quicksilver(he is my fav of the batch). I wasn't going to do the whole Silverhawks gang originally, but after completing Quicksilver now I have the urge. I'm definetily going to knock out a Bluegrass at minimum (he was always my second favorite hawk). I may actually use some Darkhawk wings down the road for Steelheart and Copper kid. The Darkhawk wings are considerably smaller than the Falcon set I used for Quicksilver so I think it would work good for them as far as scale. I imagine Quicksilver and Steelwill's wings would be more pronounced than the other two. I'm really happy with the way the batch turned out and really appreciate the feedback from everyone. It feels good to get these guys done and posted I hadn't touched them in months lol. Again thanks for the kind words everyone.

I like them all but, as the others said, Quicksilver is my favorite - I used to love that show and really enjoy seeing him in figure form. Red Arrow is really good and the Superman is straight out of the comics!

The one critique I have on Quicksilver though (if you're going for 80's accuracy), is he had "silver" going down to his upper forearm area instead of a bare arm.
