Midnighter took no time, I'll eventually sculpt and paint over his ears.

Apollo needs a repaint for those lips.

Other then that I am just waiting on Hasbro to put the big guy bucks feet out in white.

Totally recognizable. I've never actually read anything they're in, except maybe a Planetary crossover, but they look perfect!

Midnighter rocks. Nice parts, and a great look. Apollo's face is still a little pretty, but the white is impressive, as are the clean paint lines for the sigil.

I was just re-reading the old Authority comic and wondered why no one has made a custom of them. Now you have. I think they look great. Great paint apps on them both

Hey a mostly white figure and you didn't even have to open your own factory.

I like them both especially once you fix Appollo's lips. Maybe give midnighter his batons. Other than that these are really good.

yeah, I still think opening my own factory would be easier....

I am currently building the batons, wrapping wire around some plastic bits.
yeah repainting the lips has become repainting the face #annoyed

Thanks for all the kind comments, I am currently working on Super heroes that haven't or won't have nicely done toys made, mostly DC, and Pulp with a handful of Marvel characters they clearly will not fix.
I am also piecing together customs from my book I want a "wave" of figures to put under glass during my art show.
and every time I look at a ARAH I want to A.) customize a better ME figure like wowboy, and B.) finish my set of needed specialties figures.

With my lifestyle, I just don't seem to have enough time for the extra bits I want to do.

these are fantastic! using sentry for apollo is inspired! great work on the yellow & white, the bane colors of customizing!

Lol wasn't expecting these characters when I clicked on the thread. Very nice figs. Have you read Stormwatch yet in the "new 52" DCU? Its pretty good so far. Its pretty cool seeing these two in the DC Universe along side Martian Manhunter and other DC heroes. My only knock is they make reference to Appollo possibly being more powerful than Superman :-x

But in all seriousness these are nice couple of customs here, and if you aren't reading Stormwatch check it out.

I actually don't mind Apollo being more powerful then supes. Well at least not rebooted supes, but I am waiting to buy the new 52's in TPB form.
