Hello all,

Just finished a custom I'd been working on Red Ghost and his Super Apes. I also made two new Orc heads again using Hulk bodies. Finally I have added some WIP Goblins I've been working on after all you can't have Orcs without Goblins!

Let me know what you think.

You can see my original Orcs here:http://www.joecustoms.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=28582&hilit=Orcs

Red Ghost! Great use of that coat and Gargamel head.

My only critique is that Grodd looks too cartoony compared to the other two apes.

Have to admit I don't know who Red Ghost is, but the figure is awesome. And yeah, I do dig the orcs. I'm most struck by how brilliant it is sto sculpt monsters (in general) or Goblins (as you have here) onto those PTE soldiers. I have metric buttload of those figs which I don't use for anything, and honestly they aren't my son's favorites either. I normally prefer Joe construction, but that's for humans. As a skeleton for a beastie, that's a great idea.

Thanks all for your feedback, the Red Ghost is a classic Fantastic 4 villain from the sixties he is an 'evil' communist scientist who tested out cosmic rays on himself and his Apes although technically the Mandrill is a Monkey.

Red Ghost has the power to become invisible and intangible
The Gorrilla (Mikhlo) has super strength
The Orangutan (Piotr) has the power to manipulate Gravity
The Mandrill (Igor) can shapeshift.

Thanks man, I thought Grodd would be too recognisable and 'cartoony' to compensate I'm working on an articulated orangutan that will hopefully fit into Grodd's style.

Thanks drbindy, for the Goblins I wanted Bodies that I wouldn't regret cutting up. So I shortened the arms and legs and hopefully once they're painted you won't know they used to be 'human'. If anything the Goblins are a lot more hard work than the Orcs who are mostly head swaps.

The metallic/washed coat on Red Ghost really is great customizing.

Red Ghost is good. If I didn't know the character I'd think you made a realistic Santa Claus.

The Orcs are fantastic. I knew those hulk bodies would be perfect for these sorts of customs.

I really like the Goblins. Totally looking forward to seeing how those turn out.
