Here is my latest, Code Name: Red Fury

Bio: Red Fury has recently come on the scene as a body guard working for Destro. Subject's nationality is unknown, nor is it known where he trained in the martial arts, but what is known is that he is well rounded, having fought off assassins with various fighting styles. When engaged in combat, Red Fury becomes the fight, and whatever direction it goes, he flows with it. That being said, if you are unfortunate enough to be his opponent, that flow increases within him, and soon is comparable to a raging river, with no chance of it being controlled, or calmed, before it is ready.

Destro decided on hiring a ninja as his body guard because of his growing concern over Cobra Commander turning on him; he figured that if that were to happen, the Commander would send Storm Shadow to assassinate him. With Red Fury on his side, Destro believes his chances of survival have improved greatly, as the ninja has a keen sense about him, as well as a helmet full of tech that makes it nearly impossible to surprise him.

From intel the Joes have obtained through a mole in the Iron Grenadiers: "Red Fury has proven himself against threats against MARS time and time again, and for that he has been promoted to the position of head of my personal body guard detachment. He will answer to only the Baroness and myself, and will serve as my Lieutenant. Considering the threat of Cobra Commander attacking the Baroness to get to me, Red Fury will actually be serving to protect her, but without her consent, as she has rejected the notion that she is in danger... I hope she is right, but would rather be safe than sorry."

That head sculpt you did is really cool, nice job outfitting him and the dry brush paint apps set this custom on fire.

I love it. He reminds me heavily of Red X from the Teen Titans toon. May have to borrow this one for my 'verse.

That's a fantastic head! And the whole custom rocks as hell! Where's the head originally from?
Pic 3 is my favorite, so cool.
I'd rather see him as a Red Shadows ninja, but that's just a small critique.

Thanks for all the feedback on this guys! And to answer your question Tim, the head is from a Cobra Elite Trooper from the RoC line.

Wasn't crazy about the feet, so swapped them out... The first ones were too loose anyway, and kept getting twisted around.

Here is the figure with the new feet:

You need to paint the new shoes red, white, or black to tie it to the rest of the custom. Other than that, this custom is all win.

Awesome figure man. In most cases I am so over ninjas. lol. But it's nice to see a figure that gets me past that. This is one. It's also refreshing to see such a sudden influx of color into your Joe-verse. Your commandos are usually so lifelike in their military colors and hues, this guy really breaks that up a bit.

I do agree with this. I like the feet better now, but they look too plastic compared to the weathering on the rest of him. The problem mainly is that it distracts from the beauty of the rest of the work you did.

Very cool figure, Not diggen the red on red so much but still a very cool figure.
The work on the head is fantastic. I can see a whole set of troops with that as a standard helmet.

Thanks for the comments. Since everyone seems to like the changing of his feet, I think I may change his Code Name to "Happy Feet"... or not...

I would love some darker colors to help break him up, but he is a nice character. I too enjoy the helmet.

Great stuff. The weathering effect on the metal is perfect.
