The Killroy reconstruction project, has begun. I'm currently adapting Power Team Elite hips, to replace the frustrating Iron Man 2 ball hips. The next phase will see the ankles replaced with knee joints taken from an Indiana Jones figure, to provide rocker ankles.

The lower torso is mostly hollow, so I didn't have to remove a lot of material, make room for the cut down PTE waist. The plastic tube sticking out of the top of the new waist piece is just a stopper to keep it from going too far up into the torso. It won't be supporting anything, once everything has been glued together.
Image

I've hollowed the thighs out as far down as possible. On one leg, I actually hit the top of the knee drilling my initial hole, when I started the process. This lets me retain the PTE thigh swivel, which I feel is a vital joint for dynamic looking mid action poses.
Image

The top of the PTE legs are a little thin, front to back. I'll be building them up with some Apoxie sculpt, before I glue everything together.

And, Killroy's finished! Again....

I don't know why there's an 80s arcade game in a warehouse, but Killroy takes Robotron 2084's taunt's a little personally.

Thanks, man.

If I didn't work so slow and sporadically, I'd tell you to send them.

Thanks G.I.JAC. Didn't see you post before. Sorry about that. The sculpting is something I still half dread.

A little more progress on Alek'sander. His pauldron is finished, and I've attached his dueling cape to it. To prevent interference with the neck guard on the paldron, I cut off his ponytail, and reattached it with some elastic cord. There's a wire in the front and back edges of the cape, so I can make it hang more naturally looking. He's mostly finished, but I still need to make a kilt for him. The first attempt didn't fit quite right.

That's one cool looking figure man! Did you paint the pattern on the cape?

Thanks man! Yeah, I painted it. That's why there's that messed up spot in the stripe, near the top. The rest is just random squiggles.

More done on Hellchick. Unfortunately, I think I think my lighting pulled a lot of detail out of the horns. Thankfully, the other two horns like this are both shown to be broken/cut/shot off, so much less work for me. However, she has three pairs of another type of horn, that still need to be made. And, I'm still not done with the bases of these two.

I've also got most of the work done on the pauldron, and I've started to flesh out the base shapes on the gauntlet.

Bueller? Bueller?

Got the side of her face done. Still a little work to do on the lower horn.

Just showin' some leg. The Darth Vader figure the knees come from give her rotational joints immediately above and below the knees, and the hooves have rocking motion, as well as pivoting forward and back.

I gotta find a place that's more used to fantasy based customs. I'm beginning to suspect you guys don't quite know how to take my particular brand of weird. ;-)

I have to think it's the size of the thread keeping responders away. This "LASER BLAST" is amazing. You are well on your way to your Sithfire level aspirations. If only we can keep you from the video games long enough to get these bad boys done. lol.
