The head looks a little small but that's probably just the angle of the photo.

Nice clean work and painting orange (like yellow, white and red) can be a bear so I can appreciate it when its done well.

Also very nice mods to the Dusty head. I almost couldn't place it at first. Well done.

MASK does nothing for me but I sure love this custom. Great paint job and excellent work disguising the head.

Its a good looking figure...but I tend to agree with NFC....What I loved about MASK was the vehicles...The figures were just there.... Give me a 57' Chevy that turns into a Tank Anyday...I've got no clue who the Black Guy driving it is.

Hondo MacLean was the Mace Windu of the MASK universe. He was bad ass right up their with Trakker.

More importantly if any figure needed to be pulled into the Joe-verse, Hondo would be the guy with his military background.

I'm loving the figure, what are you going to use for a helmet?

Thanks, all.

Because I want Sato (and my other MASK conversions) re-interpreted as Joe characters instead of MASK ones, I don't give them masks and I push the color schemes towards more subdued color sets.

In this case, the original Bruce Sato's pure orange has been replaced with a much darker burnt orange. With my Brad Turner custom, I changed the yellow to creamy tan (which is still too yellow) and the pink to burgundy.

The one figure that I will probably include a helmet with is Miles Mayhem, because the character is a jet pilot so it makes sense. I'll probably make sure it doesn't resemble the original mask, too.

Good to see ole Bruce! I like the more subdued colors

There are several Helmets in the new lines that work well for Mask Characters, I use the funskool colored paraviper helemet for my miles (ROC Destro with a Bazzoka head)
Others:
Paraviper
The New Star Viper
Aqua Viper Commander
Pilot Firefly
The New Sci fi's extra one (when released)
