Snake as he would appear in the original Metal Gear Game i didnt keep the original design like the box art cause they ripped off Terminator but i kept some subtle touches from that design
Image
I tried to "Gear" him up with equipment and weapons he did have in the game theres quite a few i left out cause the man cant carry all of them lol
I also gave it an alternate head with the Gas Mask feature
Flashlight
Gasmask
Mines
Transmitter/reciever
Plastic Explosives
Ingram Mac II
Rocket Launcher (more modern take)
Infared Goggles
Pistol (the Baretta didnt fit the holster so its one that fits snug)
Silencer
Parts:
Head MU Captain Steve Rogers with bits of fodder for com-link
Body/upper arms : POC SE ver 3
Lower Arms: POC Duke with Launcher
Harness: Renegades SE
Pouch 25th Beachead
Backpack 25th Wraith
Bits from other stuff like
FF Landmine
ROC CC Communicator
25th FF Explosives
Relocated Knife from POC SE harness to leg
Ingram MAC II from POC SE

Very cool customs. The attention to detail is terrific. As a strange side-note, what are you using for your backdrop?

It's hard to believe that Snake started out looking like this. You definetly captured the feel of the original games.

LOVE IT. Love that you included all that gear. I'd forgotten about that old ad until I saw it on your website. I LOVED that ad! I'd draw all the elements by hand.

Only suggestion would be to try to find a Kyle Reese / Michael Beihn look-a-like head for him to match the box art!

Thanks for the response. On a strange note, after taking a second look at Snake, that Roger's head in a darker shade of brown or black would be a great Christopher Reeve.

My younger self is strangely satisfied toys of these two things exist finally. Loved Metal Gear back in the day.
