Robin the Boy Wonder - Updated

I posted this custom about a month ago, but I really didn't like how the plastic cape looked, so my wife and I made a cloth cape for him. Well, she made it, and I just watched.

I think it turned out pretty well. Its attached to him with a piece of transparent thread around the neck. Let me know what you think.

Definitely an improvement with the cloth cape (not that I didn't like the other one). I can't even see the string you used.

I really like the design of this Robin. He looks like I'd think he would as leader of the Teen Titans.

Yah, anything other than cloth capes look like ass nowadays. Why not get some actual thread to connect across? I've been using the backplugs of the Comic Superman figs to glue to the cloth capes I make so the cape won't hang back like it's choking the guy, but he'd still need something in the real world to keep it on his shoulders.

Looks good...only thing I'd consider changing is the "Sweat pants" lower legs...maybe somthing with just a bit less baggyness.

I'm still looking for a nice yellow material for my Robin's cape.

John, just buy some fabric off a bolt in the sewing dept at W*M or Hobby Lobby. An 1/8th of a yard, about 2 handwidths wide and 6 feet long, will cost you about 50 cents. Get some FrayCheck to keep the cut edge from fraying (about $1.50), and you're good to get gone, bro.

Actually rufinoacevedo, yours was my inspiration for my figure. I remember seeing it a few years ago and thought the SE torso worked great for a robin figure.

So i have to give ya props for that idea. Thanks man!

I believe I used a Joe vs Cobra BlowTorch head and used Sculpy for the hair change.
