The first image momentarily made me question whether i liked the figure but the second image nailed it. THIS is why i think i'm starting to fall in love with ARAH all over again. The continuous , flowing surface aesthetic with just enough articulation but not to much .

..it makes me wonder if an ARAH figure with swivel hinge elbows (like 25th figs) really would be the all around perfect joe body for me. Are there any arms of that type that are in scale with the smaller ARAH bodies?


Edit: The paint job is so good that this almost looks like a miniature military figure you'd buy from the UK.

Need to know...why "Bully"? What is the origin of her name? If this is similar to GI Joe names, the name denote the job the person does. Is she a bully?

I don't generally write filecards for my original characters, but here's what influenced this character's development:

The "real world" inspiration for this figure came about from a story on Nightline about female soldiers in Afghanistan assigned to speak to female villagers to gain their trust and cooperation. The team leader had short black hair and was loaded with a ton of gear. I can't remember, but it seems like she may have also been trained as a translator. That set the guidelines for the figure.

The "artistic" inspiration was that I had also wanted to repaint an '82 Scarlett head to see if I could make it look like a woman, so this was a good use of it. The head, as released by Hasbro back in '82, had no lips or eye shadow painted on it, and really didn't do justice to the work someone put into sculpting it.

As for the codename, I had the name in mind for a figure and this seemed to be the right one for it. I tried to give the face a stern expression for a character with lots of willpower. What does the character do? I don't know, but I'm sure she's able to bend others to her will.

I've looked at these pictures numerous time now since you posted and every time I do, I love it more. And more. Everything about this is great, everything. You took Scarlett v1's head and made it PRETTY! And you made Zarana's boots look almost military. Fantasic work. Sorry I didn't comment before, but only because I was mostly awed.

I love the paintjob on the head, the make-up is well done. It's such a huge improvement on Scarlett's face.
I also like the added pouches and the sleeping bag (I think it is) underneath Flint's backpack.

She's a go getter if ever there was one. . .
Pretty but stern, not one to trifle with!!!
