The quinjet looks awesome. I'll reserve judgement on the helicarrier until we get better pix. Something doesn't quite jive right. The description of it says three feet long, but the pic with the Captain America figure next to it makes it look much smaller.

Yeah, Quinjet could end up being my only purchase from this line, depending on what production Hawkeye and Widow look like.

Yeah that's what I recall and was wondering what people meant about the lack of articulation. It is possible they may have dropped some of the articulation though. I wouldn't think with the prototypes that far along, but we'll see in a couple of weeks.

Well, if you look at the protos from NYCC it does seem like they've dropped the mid torso joint and the ankle articulation on pretty much every figure. Wrist swivels are harder to tell, but many figures seem to be minus those too. It's a shame, but it isn't enough to get me to ignore the line entirely. I'll pick and choose just like I always do. The chances of me buying extra for fodder are a lot less though, especially since the big 3 haven't changed their looks drastically.

I think they've kept the articulation for Black Widow. If I'm not mistaken then she also has waist articulation at the belt.
How did Loki turn out?

He doesn't have any ankle articulation.

Ankles and torso joints missing isn't a deal breaker for me. Wrist joints are easy to add if they're missing. Arm rotation joints, or swivel arm does start making me question the purchase. That's not impossible to fix but it's not something I want to do if I pay full price. We just have a short time left to see at NY Toy Fair.

If figures start to lose the arm swivel motion, it will be as if Bandai took over.
Game over, man!

All of the pics they have shown so far have the modern hinge and swivel elbows. I don't think that has changed. The last Marvel released shots looked exactly like the protos shown at NYCC. The Hulk looks like he has some limited articulation (think recent Spiderman line Rhino), and I can't tell about the wrist or waist swivel but everything else looks to be there except the ankle.

I'm not sure what Dark Horse saw for figures. I don't think Hasbro would swap out figures this late in the game. Now the vehicle figures might very well be less articulated. IM vehicles had horrible figures with 5 points of articulation. I'm not discrediting what he saw, I'm just saying maybe what was shown wasn't everything they are releasing because some of the descriptions don't match up with things we've already seen.

But did they fix the awful movie upper leg articulations?
Widow's proto says no.
Come on we want Joe upper leg articulations.

I don't mind movie-style hip articulation, but no torso/waist joint is a deal breaker, especially at the prices these movie figures go for.

I don't mind that style of hip if you're actually able to move the joint easily... but it seems to be hit or miss.
