Avengers 1/18 and ML 2012

Went to TRU after work and only saw a single Iron Man from the Avengers line, no Loki or Ulitmate Thor

Yeah NOTHING for Avengers..
Although did see the MU revision wave with black Ronin and translucent Iron Spiderman.

that black Ronin was the black really like a dark brown? Like a Chocolate Ronin? I have heard of people seeing a chocolate Ronin around.

No, this was black.

I have just heard the chocolate Ronin was pretty highly sought after, and something about Big Brawler like mary sue qualities being attributed to him.

Maybe it was an older variant.

Isn't Toy Fair this weekend? I thought there'd be more news coming out with it so close, I know we've gotten some, but I always like looking at all those booths and all those toys we can't have right now.

You might see some of the smaller companies' stuff or PR announcements as a lead in tonight and tomorrow, but the bulk of Hasbro's stuff is going to be shown Saturday afternoon. By Saturday evening you are going to see every site reporting new stuff. I'd expect a lot of stuff from the other companies Sat and Sun.

No insider info here, but I wonder (and hope) if we might see some previews of the Retaliation figures that didn't make it to the earlier preview.

That's not really helping much, but I mainly posted because I needed to say your avatar creeps me the hell out, in a good way though. I mean it's like I'm being started down by a 4" Chief every time I read a post...wait... that didn't sound right at all. But seriously, I'm not sure I've seen a self custom that has been a better likeness than that, ever.

I hope so. I'd imagine they have at the very least pictures of the next couple of waves waiting for us if not a few mock ups. Toy fair has only recently been opened to the fans. They're really their to wow the buyers aka retailers. I'm betting they have a few tricks up their sleeve still. Last year besides future waves, Hasbro also used the event to launch Kreo, something that was completely hush hush up until then. We couldn't even take pics.

The Hasbro page that showed us the new figures started out saying there were 14 more items to be revealed. That was recently changed to 16 items. No idea what those are, but speculation is we'll see a Joe Colton and movie accurate Jinx figure.

lol - thanks! Yeah, it's creeping me out a bit, too - the little dude's been sitting here at my desk just staring at me. Staring and judging.... :chiefty:
