So definitely a one-person cargo hold then? From the pic I couldn't tell if maybe it was deep enough for more.
Really too bad if so - stretching the frame just a bit to make it go from 1-person to 4-person back there would make it go from no-buy to def-buy for me!
The play feature eats up some of the inside of the body making the figure hold only big enough for one person. And it has a seat sculpted facing the rear so unless someone wants to go laps-ies you can only get one figure back there. I see it as more of a gunner or ops seat.
Yeah, you can definitely fit more than one figure back there (I'd estimate at least two or maybe three) but there is only one seat molded in there, so they'd be packed in there pretty good.
I started finding the figures (only wave 2) and vehicles at our TRU, last week. Ended up buying more than I expected to. The Iron Man MKVII is really nice looking, and the color is great, but the figure is considerably smaller than the IM2 figures. Which bums me out. I was looking forward to adding it to my "Hall of Armors", but it just wouldn't look right next to the other suits. It would look like a teenager's armor, or something Tony made for Pepper. May try to bash parts of a MKIV figure with the MKVII to improve the size, but with the different construction on the figures, it may be a challenge.
Speaking of small, I was extremely disapointed with the Hulk figure. I wasn't expecting it to be very good, but it still fell pretty short of what I was expecting. The sculpt looks worse in person than it did in the pictures, and he is tiny compared to his movie appearances. This figure makes the first MU Hulk look like a masterpiece. The head isn't too bad, but it's not great either.
I really like the new Cap figure. The uniform is pretty cool, and the figure is pretty well done. He is a bit on the short side, as Bindy showed in his pictures, but I found that raising his head a little, made him look better, and brought his height up to about the perfect size. I really do wish he would've had ankle and wrist articulation though.
Loki is another win. Very well done figure, but surprisingly, I felt the need to
shorten Loki. He was too tall for my liking. Taller than Thor, Cap, and even a hair taller than the IM2 MKVI armor. And that's not including his horns. While shortening his shins, I took the opportunity to add some ankle articulation to him, and also cut off his hands and gave him new ones, so he now has wrist articulation too. I tried to hollow out a helmet to fit on a Secret Strike Loki head, but it won't fit. Either the helmet is too small or the head is too big. He still looks good though with the Secret Strike Loki head on the figure, while holding the helmet.
As for the vehicles, I've gotten the Quinjet and two of the IM repaints of the Cap jet. I'm VERY pleased with both vehicles. I loved the design on the Cap jet, but hated the colors they used for the Cap movie version. The new version may be in "Iron Man" colors, but it's not as bad as the Formula1 car from the IM2 line. The grey jet with red trim and a gold exhaust housing looks nice, and the Avengers symbols on the rear fins add to the coolness. It doesn't look like something specifically for Iron Man, like the Cap tank does. The IM jet will look good with anyone in it.
I just picked up the Quinjet yesterday and it's great. Of course I wouldn't mind if it were just a little bit bigger, but I also really like it as-is. A great design, and the play feature doesn't really get in the way either. In fact I found that after you change to "attack mode", I was able to get the launcer to go back down, and stay down, and could still fire the rockets from it. The wing conversion feature is really neat too. Very fun jet.
I hit two Targets and three Wal-Marts today, but found absolutely zip for the Avengers figures, so I have yet to find the Cap movie WWII re-do figure (Rocket Grenade Captain America). He is about the only other figure I want, until Widow and movie Hawkeye start to hit.
