I like the results. When I started I wasn't entirely sure what would be required to get Lightning Mobutu some respect, I think it worked.

Is the visor sculpted green stuff? I ask because it looks really good. I think it is the first visor wearing custom I've ever seen. It adds to his overall very unique look.

I love stuff like this. I was at the store this morning and looked at the CORPs figures, I usually just pass them by, but I saw one guy, he had a top knot or whatever it's called, he was part of the samurai forces, I forget their names, he had a one word name, like , Raid or something, anyway, I thought of this thread when I saw him, cause I just saw a cool Star Wars head from a Jedo that looked like it could be used for an update of him.

Keep it up, can't wait to see whatelse you come up with. You going to do any of their bright orange/yellow/blue vehicles? That'd look pretty cool done in a more realistic way.

What a great project. Love the way you're approaching it. No critiques.

That's a pretty cool reinvention! My only critique is that the head sits a bit high on the neck. Have you considered drilling the ball socket deeper so it sits lower?

Aside from that, I'm a little bummed you didn't keep any armoring on his legs.

Looking forward to seeing more!

I love how you approached this. You've inspired me to flesh out the CORPS in my little corner of the Universe. I always knew about the Africa pin but you made it blend with the figure much more than the original did. It makes me want to tie him into the Bronze Bomber, whom I use as an African version of G.I. Joe.

No crtitiques - great work!

Actually the visor is a chopped and trimmed cap from a Star Wars Vintage '11 Rebel Fleet Trooper. I tried sculpting it first but the bill of it proved a pain.

Thanks for the great feedback. There's more Corps! on the way and in the works.

comparison picture. Ethan Crown and Road Rash were made from the same body tooling with diffferent heads. This is just to show I varied my customs to look completely individual from eachother.
