Did you guys know a Night Viper drives an old Chevy? Had this Night Viper done for a long time, maybe a year or more, hadn't posted it yet. I actually didn't own the vintage version until more recently, so now that I have them in hand, I can see some inaccuracies. This guy took some work though:
-Removeable helmet, night scope, and pack from Raginspoon
-Custom rifle kitbash
-Removeable web gear with removeable knife
-Added leg pegs for the rifle
-Removeable knife in boot sheath
-shoulder pads
-bullet arm band
-arm patch
-green cobra logo (modified cobra stickers)

Check him out!

Torso-Beach head type
Arms and hands-Beach head type
Web Gear-Matt Trakker modded, with Mutt vest shoulder pads
Knife Holster-greenstuff
Armband-star wars bullets and Matt Trakker strap
Upper Legs-Copperhead with added leg pegs
Lower Legs and Feet-SRO Deep Six
Leg Knife/Holster-Zartan
Weapon-2 parts Gung Ho, 2 parts Pit Commando, 1 part Star Wars (I think), and strap

And Black Ops Duke! This one started out to be a DDP Black Ops version but then I realized he didn't wear the skull cap in the DDP, but I liked the idea so much I went with it anyway.

That Night Viper is far superior to the Retaliation NV that Hasbro is making. Awesome shade of green you used too, better than the weird aqua-ish green on the 1989 figure.

Really dig the simplicity of Duke. It could work for SAS just as well.

Thanks for the comments guys, I appreciate it! SAS, that sounds like a great idea for a project! I'm looking forward to the hasbro version of the night viper, hope it makes it to retail and it's available and all that. Still haven't seen a renegades storm shadow despite the effort.

Those definitely work.

Small personal nit: I prefer that deeper blue-green that the original figure uses. I think if you could pull that off, it would give yours more Of a night-sniper than jungle-sniper feel.
