Great take on him. I really dig all the pouches and gear.

Alright alright alriiiight, you gon learn today! This is a firefly that is for sure a bonafide badass, locked, loaded, and ready for whatever comes his way. All parts used and gear combined make this grade A status, best firefly I've seen in a long time, him and Calviss Calrissian should team up and do some damage, I see some similarities, but different and distinguished enough to establish both characters as separate entities, bravo my good man. Care to share the recipe, specially that shotgun pouch, and the explosives canisters and whatnot, and just the overall figure.

I didn't think that Renegades FF head would work on another body, especially Capt. America's, you made one bad a$$ed custom, very cool job.

THNX 4 the compliments guys! The recipe is pretty str8 4ward... CapAm Desert Battle body - Ren FF head - pouches from fodder added to a modded PoC FF vest & the Cap belt - back holster is from a 6" Spawn Commando fig - Cobra belt buckle was carved away from a 25th Crimson Guard backpack - backpack is from a HALO fig - scratchbuilt IED is a 12" smoke grenade w/ aluminum cable crimp ferrels & hair braiding cord - tactical scout rifle is a Bravo Team H&K MP5 modded with magwell/stickmag/stock/suppressor/ACOG scope from fodder - grenade launcher (20mm chamber???) was modded for auto-loader mag fed style from fodder & the legstrap/bandolier/ammo were carved away from a SW fig torso...
As for those who don't care for the RenFF head - the CapAm base fig is just too big for most masked head sculpts & I like this look actually...???

Remember back when you debuted the WIP of this I said I wanted to make my own then I messed up at the start? Now I see this and it's just as well, I can't do justice to this work of badassery. This custom rocks through and through.

Yeah I remember & was wonderin' if U had ever gotten 'round to U'r version while I was finishin' him up... U should still do one... tons of fun... part of the greater joys in this hobby is kickin' ideas 'round w/ other folks - I would really like to see what someone else could concoct from this concept - THNX for the praise man... :)

I dig him. Congrats for taking a Cap figure and turning him into a fine looking FF, even while you can still see that he started out life as Cap. There's something to be said for being able to do so.

The heavy amount of gear and pouches really sells the figure. Something about the way he looks from the back, with the cool holster and gear - also gave me the subtle vibe that this could be the starting point for a real world Mando/Fett look.

THNX 4 the kind words drbindy - funny thing is that I just picked up a 2nd Desert Cap fig & a Ralph McQuarrie concept Fett fig & I actually am gonna try & outfit it as a "Sandalorian" Tusken style Mando/Fett - I got the idea from a couple guys who have done a few on ImperialShiyards... :)

A few folks on some other sites have asked about the weapon in the back holster - so here is a kwik pic of it - I know a mag fed grenade launcher is a bit ridiculous - but I HATED that FF's didn't have a trigger guard & I just kept addin' to it...

Firefly definitely looks beast. I'm not a fan of the Renegades head, with its exposed nose, but everything else is pure bred, grade A, grain fed bad assery.
