When the Joes enlisted former wrestling champion Sgt. Slaughter to oversee PT and close quarters combat training for their recruits, it gave Destro an idea. But when the Laird McCullen sought a trainer for his Iron Grenadiers, he wasn't interested in someone with the same commitment to fair play and good sportsmanship. He wanted one of the meanest, dirtiest fighters in the history of the ring. And the fact that, when he found the perfect candidate, he also happened to be Scottish was just the icing on the cake.

I attribute the fact that I did this to the "I'm already dirty" principle. I hated when the Joes introduced Slaughter back in the 80s and I thought Mastercollector's Piper was over the top. But I sure did love the recent SDCC Slaughter figure and I found the Build n Brawl of Roddy, so...
The parts for this were a total accident. i started with Roddy's head and legs and just built the rest around it. The kilt was a royal pain. I knew I didn't want a cloth one but couldn't get any molded pieces to look right. This is thick plastic sheeting cut to fit and anchored with the belt.
What do you think?
