Body and scale are great, something just a bit off with the head for me. Possibly the mask.

I was about to curse you for beating me to the punch, as I have also been working on a Robin, but we went with different versions, so I'll put the cursing on hold... for now. :shifty:

I have to agree that something is a little "off" with the head. I think Will is right, that it may be the mask.
I also think he has too big of a gap between his legs. Definitely appreciate the effort put in to making the DCIH figure work, but the adult sized "pelvis" with the child-sized body and legs makes for a little bit of an awkward look.

Aside from those two minor issues, it is really a fantastic figure, and very well executed.

First off I have to say I am just now seeing the Freeze custom and...Hot Damn that is amazing!!!!!!! That is instantly my favorite custom you have ever done as well as the best Freeze I have ever seen. Like Bill said there are alot of really outstanding takes on Freeze out there with a wide variety of recipes, but this one just works so damn good it easily my favorite. It really captures my favorite looks and features of freeze from his many incarnations over the years. Great job man. Now onto Robin. There is some really good stuff here, however I have to agree something is off abit. I don't think its the head though. I would tend agree with Gaigaan that the hips are too big. It looks to bulky (almost like he's got a diaper on under the spandex) If you can find a new pelvis I think the fig would look great. Kalibak looks really great with the new colors. I really liked it before, but I cant deny the darker colors improve it overall. As always I love seeing the DC customs keep 'em coming man you are knockin' them outta the park.

Thanks again for all the kind words on Freeze, fellas. I'm very proud of him.

I get what folks are saying on Robin, and I may have a fix for him. Found a Spider Woman pelvis that might be perfect.

The head I'd like to replace, but first I need to find two of one I like. Any suggestions on a young-looking noggin are very welcome.

I think a new head will really push Robin over the top. The current one is just a little young looking for Tim Drake. The rest of the figure is really great.

Thanks, everyone, for the very kind feedback...especially on Robin, who clearly needed some more work.

I took what you guys gave me and attempted some fixes while tweaking him further today:

In addition to the new head, I trimmed down that waist/pelvis piece substantially and thinned out the belt to try and eliminate the bulky hip/diaper look folks mentioned last night. Also trimmed down those shoulder-ball sockets I used to attach/articulate the legs. Then I added swivel elbows and a left wrist swivel (seemed weird to just have the right one with that articulation) and drilled some foot holes.

Here's how the enhanced Robin looks with the rest of my Bat-Family now:

What do you guys think? Improvements?

Robin looks fan-freaking-tastic!

What head did you use?
Really I prefer Robin to have some green in his uniform, but aside from that strictly personal preference, your Robin is absolutely perfect.
Again fantastic job!

That Bat trio is awesome.
The Bucky head for Robin is perfect.
